The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) is part of the new ZenFone 3 series and the model with an incredibly-long-lasting, high-capacity 4100mAh battery that provides up to

• 15 hours of video playback

The ZenFone 3 Max’s high capacity battery gives owners freedom to use it for extended lengths without the need to charge it and even the ability to act as a fast charging power bank that can charge other devices with a current of up to 1.5A.

This latest addition to the ZenFone 3 series also sports a new full-metal, aluminum alloy body that houses its high-definition 5.2in IPS display. The display is surrounded by a slim, 2.25mm bezel that gives it a high 75% screen to body ratio – meaning that the bezel takes up only a quarter of its front facing surface area, giving users as large a screen for as compact a phone size as possible.

>Recently I’ve been interviewing iOS developers for a senior dev position at a fellow consultancy.
It is not an easy task to evaluate the level of knowledge and experience of another developer. You need to put aside your own subjective judgement and what is the most important - shut up and listen.

After going through several rounds of such interviews here are the questions I typically ask:

4. What do you know about singletons? Where would you use one and where you wouldn't?
5. Could you explain what is the difference between Delegate and KVO?
6. How do you usually persist data on iOS?
7. How do you typically do networking?
8. How do you serialize data on iOS (JSON from the web or local app data to Core Data and other storages) ? 
9. What design patterns do you know and use on iOS?
10. What is Autolayout?
11. How do you handle async tasks?
12. How do you manage dependencies?
13. How do you debug and profile things on iOS?
14. Do you code review?
15. Do you test your code? What do you do to make your code testable?

The purpose of this question is to inquire if the interviewee actually keeps up with the latest development from Apple.

Expected answer: he/she tells you what the latest version of the system is and what he/she has worked with lately. And tells you about one of the new features of the system that he/she is excited about (i.e. I love new multitasking on iPad because it’s going to make user experience way better and opens up a lot of opportunities for us developers to build new cool things, etc.).

ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini review: Features good hardware but kills it with outdated software

Head to an online shopping website these days and you will notice plenty of new smartphones popping up online in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 segment. They may not offer the most exciting designs or flawless construction quality, but you do get great hardware inside (in terms of raw processing power) which should be good enough for day to day WhatsApp messages, the occasional photograph and bit of gaming with a focus that is always on battery life.

The ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini is one such smartphone. The Chinese smartphone maker is indeed looking for its niche in the budget smartphone segment with the Z11 Mini but with so many options from so many brands, it is going to to be a tough sell even with a capable specifications sheet.

Add to this smartphones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, the legendary Motorola Moto G4 Plus and others and it gets really tough to settle down on one. So is the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini worth its Rs 12,999 price tag? Well, that’s exactly what I am going to conclude by the end of this review.

Build and Design: 7.5/10

A short glance at the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini and you will notice how similar it looks to the iPhone 6s from the front and the sides (see images below). The design looks simple but comes with some classy touches that will make it stand out from the current crop of budget-friendly smartphones like the plasticky Moto G4 Plus and the Redmi Note 3.

The Nubia Z11 mini features a glass and metal design with rounded corners and it also features 2.5D glass on the front and back.

The front facing glass which also protects the display, is made of Gorilla Glass 3 and features an oleophobic coating. The one on the back however does not and due to the lack of the same coating, makes it a smudgy mess. This is more so for
