OnePlus 3T has been in the rumour mill for quite some time and the existence of the Google Pixel makes even more sense for it to exist as the smartphone maker has no Daydream-ready smartphone. New coming in from Chinese social networking site Weibo now hints at a 17 November launch of the upcoming OnePlus 3T in London and it also sheds some light on what we can expect from it.
The information comes via Phone Arena from a credible source that has been accurate to some extent in the past. User Reviewer_Well hinted at the launch of the Daydream VR ready OnePlus 3T with refreshed internals. This would include a Daydream-ready hardware which for now stands at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, and 6GB RAM which has been the standard in the currently available OnePlus 3. Also expected is a bigger battery in
the form of a 3,300mAh unit. Apart from the Graphite and Soft Gold, fans can also expect a OnePlus 3T in a “black” finish.

The same source also points out that the Chinese smartphone maker (that now also sells its own Gear accessories) will announce the OnePlus 3T in two variants. The first one a standard 6GB RAM model with 64GB storage and a higher-specd 6GB RAM model with 128GB internal storage.
While none of these details can be confirmed for now, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei in an interview with XDA, did hint that something new was coming from OnePlus. Since the OnePlus X is no more, it is obvious that an upgraded version of the 3 should be expected to cope up with what the Google Pixel XL has on offer.
