Keeping up with several social media profiles can quickly become overwhelming and information overload is inevitable. When you first download the app, you can log in with your Twitter or Facebook account. You cannot sign up using your email address. In my experience, logging in with Twitter alone did not get you access to the app. Rather, it appears that you have to log in with both Facebook and Twitter.

Once you’re in, you can create your customized social media feed by adding individual users or pages from your Twitter and Facebook. You can also follow the latest and most popular posts on Designer News and Hacker News, as well as your favorite news sources — from CNN and The Guardian, to the BBC and NFL News.



Tech blogs like The Verge, Recode, and TechCrunch are also included in the news sources. While Bynd is free, if you want to add Instagram or YouTube feeds, there’s an in-app purchase of $0.99 per site. Bynd does limit you to up to 100 feeds from all of your
social feeds.
